Technology Transfer as a Foundation for Developing Innovative Potential

On November 5-6, 2024, a practical seminar titled “Technology Transfer in the Development of Innovative Business and Startups” was held at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship. The event featured a leading expert from the Republic of Korea and specialists from the Graduate School's Center for Cooperation with Business Incubators and Startup Projects.

It brought together representatives from government agencies, industry associations, research institutions, higher education establishments, and entrepreneurial entities. During the seminar, participants explored international experiences with national systems that support technology transfer, the necessity and objectives of such transfers, and the conditions required for the dissemination of new developments and innovations. They also discussed ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at fostering an innovative economy and supporting the adoption of new technologies across various sectors.

Experts provided attendees with practical recommendations on enhancing the technology transfer systems within scientific and educational institutions and entities involved in innovative infrastructure. They emphasized the need to create conducive conditions for productive collaboration between science and business and highlighted the importance of increasing the effectiveness of research activities to commercialize new developments in the country.
